TRENDS IN PATTERNS - ILLUSTRATED

Portmerion, Maxwell Williams and Royal Worcester were among some of the key brands pushing fne illustration. This was extremely detailed illustration, showing the artist’s drawing marks and pencil lines. Nature was the key theme with over 95% of what was seen being animals. The addition of the neon colour (far right image) gave this look a real contemporary feel.
