Oxidized
Oxidized or patina finishes give products an aged, multi-color finish has been on the rise.  Glass, which is becoming an expressive form of art as well as something functional, is now adopting this finish.  The weathered finish makes each piece unique and engages the sense of touch which is becoming more important.  This finish is primarily being seen in dinnerware and decorative glass but should be watched to see how it emerges in glassware.
