Fruit and vegetables were appearing in many exhibitions. Surprising carrots and corn on the cob were the most popular. This has over taken pineapples and melons that didn’t make much of an appearance.

The popularity of the colour orange and yellow could have enhanced the popularity of carrots and corn on the cob. They are also great shapes for pens and accessories.
