TRENDS IN PATTERNS - FERNS & PALMS IN TABLEWARE

Tableware with a tropical botanical feel was a strong trend this year at the show. Villeroy & Boch stood out (top left) as being the leader in the trend incorporating on-trend colours (blush & sea greens) and embossments. Colours were predominantly greens but some companies such as Casa Collection bought in brighter pinks and reds to compliment the ranges.

今年的展會(huì)上，熱帶植物圖案的餐具是一個(gè)強(qiáng)勢(shì)的趨勢(shì)。Villeroy & Boch作為趨勢(shì)的領(lǐng)跑者脫穎而出（如圖），結(jié)合流行顏色（臉頰紅&海綠色）和浮雕。顏色以綠色為主，但是Casa Collection 之類的公司，帶來(lái)了更加明亮的粉色和紅色，襯托這一趨勢(shì)。

Fern motifs were seen from PTMO, Hollander, Bungalow Denmark and Dome Deco, often as embossments in ceramic with pooling or reactive glazes or as etchings on glass. This trend seems set to remain steady for another season.

PTMO、Hollander、Bungalow Denmark和Dome Deco采用了蕨類主題，通常是作為陶瓷上的浮雕，使用池釉或是活性釉，或是作為玻璃上蝕刻。這一趨勢(shì)似乎會(huì)保持穩(wěn)定，一直持續(xù)到另一個(gè)季度。
