TRENDS IN PATTERNS - ART DECO

Art Deco-inspired motifs were a common sight around the Living halls with elaborate fans and ferns, particularly in gold, used as decoration.

These pieces had more of a worn appearance than previous season’s takes on the theme, with distressed mercury glass and patinered metals on lanterns and planters. Feature pieces such as occasion tables and large planters were bold statements, this trend is not about being subtle.
